2. Children must not play with the appliance.
3. Children are not allowed to perform cleaning
and user maintenance, unless they are 8
years of age or older and are supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and the power cord out
of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
5. CAUTION – parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burn injuries! Particular
caution is required if children or persons at
risk are present.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
7. This appliance must not be operated with an
external timer or a remote control system.
8. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Protect the appliance from moisture.
9. Ensure that the power cord does not come into
contact with hot parts of appliance.
10. Always ensure that the power cord is laid out
its entire length to prevent damage due to
overheating.
11. To unplug the appliance, only pull on the plug,
never pull directly on the power cord.
12. As additional protection, we recommend
installation of a residual current device (RCD/
FI) with a tripping characteristic of not more
than 30 mA in the bathroom power circuit.
Consult with your electrician.
13. The appliance is intended for household use
only; it is not designed for commercial require-
ments.
14. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
15. During operation, leave sufficient space
between the appliance and walls and other
flammable objects such as curtains.
16. Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of
heat sources.
17. For safety reasons do not use the appliance to
style artificial hair.
18. Keep the appliance or parts of the appliance
away from your face and ears to avoid burns.
