33. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can
result in electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1.
Carefully unpack the appliance. Keep packaging materials away from chil-
dren - danger of suffocation!
2.
Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as described in the chapter "Cleaning
and care".
3.
Connect the base to the mains supply by means of the lead cable (230 V~,
50 Hz).
4.
Check if the appliance is placed firmly.

OPERATION

1.
Fill the cup with cold water subject to the desired hardness and the num-
ber of eggs:
ƒ hard
ƒ medium
ƒ soft
Please use the respective marks at the cup. Pour the water into the water
tray. The marks apply to medium egg sizes. Depending on the size, number
and freshness of the eggs, the results may slightly differ.
2.
Pierce the blunt end of the eggs with an egg piercer. This is important to
avoid that the eggs burst during cooking.
ATTENTION.
Risk of injuries by the egg piercer!
