Flushing of Floor Heating Systems

For general notes see 4.1
1. Cut off flow pipe from boiler
2. Drinking water protection (pipe disconnector) must be
fitted before the compressor
3. Cut or close reflux and attach outlet hose. The hose must
lead and be attached to a large enough drain.
4. In case of low water pressure, flush heating system train by train.

6. Press program key 'flushing water + air'
To enhance cleaning and flushing effect, the 'permanent air blast' key can be activated.
Flow rate is indicated when stop valves are opened, and air blasts are delivered into piping
system at proportional rate.
7. Flushing per train of pipes must take at least 15 seconds per running meter of pipe to be
flushed.
8. Flushing of the flow pipe train is complete, when no more particles are evident.
9. Dismantle the ROPULS cleaning compressor and fit into return piping.
The boiler must be cut off from the return pipe.
Flush as described under points 6 to 8.

The sanitizing equipment now makes way for a DVGW approved dosage appliance to
prevent corrosion or, for a water softener to prevent corrosion and furring. The
protective layer is regularly checked on an installed control piece.
All tapping points must be opened at least twice a day for 3 minutes. This is absolutely
required for a protective layer to form.
