Please read these operating instructions carefully. Failure to observe the information provided be-
low can lead to personal injury or material damage. Keep these instructions in a safe place where
they can also be read by other persons using the device. Always pass on these instructions toge-
ther with the appliance if you sell it or pass it on.
WARNING
• Keep children away from the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.
• Children must be supervised when using this device.
CAUTION
• Before use, make sure that the device and accessories do not show any visible signs of
damage.
If you are in any doubt, do not use it and contact your dealer or a specified customer
service address.
• Do not stretch, twist or kink the power cord.
• Do not position the power cord on or pull it over sharp or pointed objects.
• Plug the power cable into a correctly installed mains outlet.
• Do not open the case under any circumstances.
• Keep the device away from pointed or sharp objects.
• If the device has been dropped or otherwise damaged, it must not be used again.
• Switch the device off and unplug it from the power supply after every use and before every
cleaning.
WARNING: Electric shock
As with every electrical device, use this device carefully and cautiously, in order to avoid
hazards due to electric shock.
For this reason, the device must only be operated as follows:
• with the mains voltage specified on the device only
• never use the device if any damage to the appliance itself or to any of its accessories is
evident
• never during a thunderstorm.
Switch the device off immediately if it is defective or nor working properly and disconnect
it from the power supply. Do not pull the power cord or the device to disconnect the power
supply unit from the socket. Never hold or carry the device by the power cord. Keep the
cables away from hot surfaces.
Keep the device, the plug and cables away from water or other liquids.
For this reason, the device must be operated as follows:
• only in dry inside rooms
• only with dry hands
• never in the bath, in the shower or near a filled basin
• never in swimming pools, whirlpools or in the sauna
• never out in the open
Never reach for a charger that has been submerged in water. Disconnect it from the mains
immediately.
