Yogurt maker Use instructions
VANILLA YOGHURT
125 g NATURAL YOGHURT
9 dl FULL-FAT MILK (UHT)
50 g SUGAR
1 tablespoon NATURAL VANILLA ESSENCE
• Mix the sugar and vanilla essence with the yoghurt.
• Add the milk gradually, mixing all the time.
• Pour the mix into the container.
NOTE: Do not use artificial vanilla essence as this will give the yoghurt an unpleasant smell and taste.
CITRUS YOGHURT
125 g NATURAL YOGHURT
9 dl FULL-FAT MILK (UHT)
50 g SUGAR
10 drops LEMON OR ORANGE ESSENCE (available from health food stores)
• Mix the sugar with the essential oil and yoghurt.
• Add the milk gradually, mixing all the time.
• Pour the mix into the container.
NOTE: Do not use artificial orange or lemon essence as this will give the yoghurt an unpleasant smell and
taste.
FRUIT YOGHURT
125 g NATURAL YOGHURT
7 dl FULL-FAT MILK (UHT)
50 g SUGAR
200 g FRUIT OF YOUR CHOICE (bananas, strawberries, peaches, etc.)
• Mash the fruit with a fork (blender, if you prefer) until it forms a smooth purée.
• Add sugar and mix carefully.
• Slowly pour in the milk.
• Pour the mix into the container.
NOTE: Fruit will tend to oxidise and turn a darker colour. This will not affect the yoghurt or its goodness.
