operAtion - Making ice cream
1. P ut the ingredients into the cooler
compartment, according to the directions
in the recipe (see 'Recipes'). When filling
the cooler compartment, keep in mind the
minimum and maximum levels, as noted
with the two markings inside the cooler
compartment.
2. P lace the motor onto the lid. Make sure it
clicks into place on the lid.
3. P lace the mixing paddle in the slot on the
bottom of the lid. Slide it over the drive shaft
(3) until it clicks into place.
4. C lose off the cooler compartment with the lid
by inserting the mixing paddle into the filled cooler compartment. Turn the lid clockwise until it clicks into
place.
5. C onnect the adapter to the power connection of the appliance and put the plug into the wall socket. The
stop button will light up red.
6. P ress the button of your choice (hard or soft). The button will light up green. The appliance now starts
mixing and freezing.
When a certain thickness of the ice cream is attained, the mixing paddle will stop mixing.
7. L eave the appliance to mix fora bout 30 to 60 minutes until the ice cream has the desired thickness. The
ice cream will be ready for consumption right after. There is no need to let it soften, as is the case with
harder, store-bought ice cream.
8. W hen the ice cream has attained the desired thickness, press the stop button. The stop button will light
up red and the appliance will stop mixing and freezing.
9. Remove the lid by turning it counter-clockwise.
10. Switch off the appliance, and remove the plug from the wall socket.
11. F or harder ice cream, spoon the contents of the cooler container into an airtight freezer box and place it
in the freezer for a few hours until it has hardened.
operAtion - storing ice cream
If you want to keep the ice cream, place it in the freezer in an airtight freezer box. The maximum storage
period is one week.
cleAning And MAintenAnce - cleaning
Clean the appliance and the loose parts
thoroughly after each use:
1. P ull the plug from the socket and take the
adapter out of the power connection.
2. Take the mixing paddle from the drive shaft.
3. T ake the motor from the lid by pressing the
release button.
4. C lean the cooler container, the mixing
paddle and the cover in warm soapy water.
Rinse the parts with ample water and dry
them thoroughly.
5. C lean the motor housing with a damp cloth.
Then dry the parts thoroughly.
6. Reassemble the parts.
7. K eep the appliance in a dry place. You can also keep the cooler container in the freezer.
• V erify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you start to clean it.
• N ever use corrosive or scouring cleaning products or sharp objects (such as a knife or a hard brush)
to clean the appliance.
• Do not immerse the motor housing in water, or in other liquids.
• The appliance and its parts are not dishwasher-proof.
