Special Notes
• The textile label sewn into the
garment is an important part of the
compression stockings.
If this label is removed from medi
products, the right to a guarantee,
repair or replacement becomes null
and void. Only wear compression
stockings after consulting your doctor.
Compression stockings should be
dispensed by trained staff only.
• Should pain or skin irritations occur
while wearing compression stockings,
please take off the stocking
immediately and consult your doctor
or medical practitioner.
• The medi Butler (Valet) has proved to
be the outstanding aid of choice in the
application of compression stocking
and panty hose. Kindly ask for the
medi Butler (Valet) from your medical
practitioner.
• Be careful with sharp fingernails
and rings! In order to avoid damaging
the fine fabric of your stocking handle
with care. Ideally you should use
rubber gloves when putting the
stockings on. Distribute the stocking
evenly up over your leg with palm of
your hand until it fits without creases.
• To make the stockings even more
comfortable to wear you may slightly
adjust the topband several times a
day. The silicone topband may cause
reactions in sensitive persons.
• Your medical practitioner will explain
how to put on the stocking correctly
– please follow these instructions to
ensure that the compression stocking
has the best possible effect.
• Rough or horny heels can easily cause
damage to the stocking because the
heel has to be pulled through the
narrow ankle section of the stocking
during application.
• Please ensure your footwear is in good
condition inside. Any defect on the
shoe lining may increase friction and
quickly lead to damage to the
stocking.
