Start sound output on your smart device, and set your preferred volume.
The sound is output from the loudspeaker on the E-Scooter.
7. Using the E-Scooter
Read the Safety Instructions carefully.
Make sure you have enough room for using the E-Scooter, and that the surface is
even and free of obstacles.
Make sure that the E-Scooter is clean ,especially its wheels.
The first time you use the E-Scooter, get someone to help you get on or
off, and to be there when you're riding on it.
Only travel at speeds appropriate to your skill level.
Press the on/off switch on the rear of the E-Scooter to switch it off.
You now hear this message: READY FOR BLUETOOTH CONNECTING. If
necessary, connect the E-Scooter to your smart device (see "6.2. Downloading/using
the MEDION app" on page 85).
Do not set off if you hear a signal tone and the battery charge display light is red.
Make sure the battery is fully charged before setting off.
Stand at the rear of the E-Scooter and place one foot firmly on the footplate.
Then quickly step onto the footboard, ensuring both feet are securely
positioned.
Do not stand with only one foot on the footboard for too long. If you do
this, the E-Scooter might accidentally start moving in a circle.
The LED balance sensor starts shining blue as soon as you place one foot on the
footboard. If the LED balance sensor starts shining red, get off immediately and
calibrate the device (see "8. Calibrating the E-Scooter" on page 88).
