sponds to the value indicated on the name
plate with technical data of the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch.
The power tool must be connected and dis-
connected to the power supply socket only
when this switch is in OFF position. If the plug
is connected to a receptacle while the power
switch is in the ON position, the power tool
will start operating immediately, which could
cause a serious accident.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in
order. If the replacement of the supply cord is
necessary, this has to be done by the manu-
facturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety
hazard.
WARNING: Always switch off and un-
plug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
▪ Make sure the grinding wheel diameter and
thickness do not exceed the values specified
on the name plate. The peripheral speed in-
dicated on the wheel must not be less than
80 m/s. The wheels must be stored according
the recommendations of the manufacturer.
▪ In case the work area is remote from the pow-
er source, use as short as practicable exten-
sion cord with proper cross-section.
▪ Check that the auxiliary handle is properly
mounted and reliably tightened.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
Switching on: Push the back end of the ON/OFF

ADjUSTING THE ROTATION SPEED
(M 750E HD, M 850E HD, M 1050E HD,
M 1200E PLUS HD, M 1200CES HD,
M 1400CES HD, M 1400CES PlUS HD)
Continuous operation at low rpm is not recom-
mended for the following machines: М 750Е HD,
M 850E HD, М 1050Е HD.
The rotation speed can be varied smoothly by
turning electronic regulator 8, placed on the
rear of the grinder. In the table below the rec-
ommended regulator positions for the different
areas of applications are specified:
Original instructions
Area of application
1. Plastics grinding with plastic disk
and abrasive cloth (paper)
2. Wood grinding and removing
lacquer and dye coatings
3. Metal grinding with plastic disk and
abrasive cloth (paper)
4. Dust removing with cup brush
5. Rough cleaning, metal or stone cutting
6. Polishing with plastic disk and
polishing jacket
Models M 850E HD, M 1050E HD, M 1200E HD
are equipped with full-wave electronics for
-
Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-
rent;
-
Speed pre-selection and control.
Model M 1200E plus HD is equipped with full-
wave electronics for:
-
Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-
rent;
-
Speed pre-selection and control.
-
Brief overload protection (upon jamming
the wheel). To resume operation release the
ON/OFF switch and then press it again;
-
Non-self starting safety (NVR) after re-
storing the mains supply. To resume operation
release the ON/OFF switch and then press it
again.
Models M 1200CES HD and M 1400CES HD
feature full-wave tachoconstant electronics for:
-
Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-
rent;
-
Speed pre-selection and control and main-
taining constant rpm upon overloading;
-
Brief overload protection (upon jamming
the wheel). To resume operation release the
ON/OFF switch and then press it again;
-
Overload protection (adaptable current
protection). To protect the machine motor from
inadmissible overheating the power is reduced
without functionality being lost;
-
Non-self starting safety (NVR) after re-
storing the mains supply. To resume operation
release the ON/OFF switch and then press it
again.
