Active Subwoofer System
These operating instructions are intended
for users with basic knowledge in audio
technology . Please read the instructions
carefully prior to operation and keep them
for later reference .
1 Applications
The PSUB-418AK is a powerful active sub-
woofer system . It is suited as a low-fre-
quency complement to an existing audio
system with special requirements concern-
ing low-bass reproduction . The PSUB-418AK
is ideally matched to the speaker series PAK-
400 and features the same cabinet design .
An integrated limiter will protect the
speaker and prevent signal distortion . For
mobile applications, the subwoofer system
offers castors and carrying handles . A stand
sleeve on the upper side of the subwoofer
system allows for insertion of a spacer tube .
Thus, a speaker system can be installed on
top of the subwoofer system .
