6. Transport
Take the heavy weight of the cabinets into consideration – refer also to the Table in Annex 1. The transport work should
therefore usually be performed with a minimum of 2 people.
Transport the cabinet in an upright position using a fork lift truck; it should be secured against slipping until it reaches
its final place of use.
Warning: The spacers in the door joints may only be removed at the site of installation.
If the cabinet needs to be moved to its side during transport, this may only happen smoothly without jerking. The cabi-
net may not be laid on doors or drawers.
N.B.: Due to its heavy weight, the cabinet is difficult to handle. Incorrect transport may lead to concealed damage to the
fire protection insulation.
We can only guarantee the requisite quality if the cabinet is transported by our specially trained staff to the point of use.
Attention: Written notification of any damage to the cabinet must be given immediately!
7. Installation/commissioning/functional check
The cabinet must be erected at its final site in such a way that the doors close automatically from any position and inter-
lock correctly (with the exception of the TRG-, G90 and VBF.60 models, as well as F30.60-models with drawers).
This must still be the case even if the lock has already interlocked! When closing, the doors may not rub on the fire
protection seals in the door fold!
Metal spacers must be used to adjust the cabinet on uneven ground.
Before use, the cabinet must be given a safety inspection. Please refer to the applicable national regulations on the con-
ditions of installation for cabinets for storage of hazardous materials.
