2. First Time Setup

This quick guide will take you through a step by step process of system initial setup.
NOTE: The First Time Setup process is only availble when you power on the Control Panel for the first time. Once the process is
completed, it will not appear again. All of the options can be changed later again, do not worry if you make any mistakes.
Detail system setting can be done later by accessing the Programming Mode.
Connect the AC power to your Control Panel, and switch on the battery switch.
The Green Power LED will light up, The Control Panel LCD will display:
Press OK to continue. You will enter panel language setting page, this will determine panel LCD menu and voice prompt reminder language.
1. Select your desired language and press OK to continue.
From now on the LCD display language will change according to your selection
2. Enter a 4-digit User PIN code which will be used as your default PIN code to access the system.
Press OK to confirm. The screen will display Alarm Off along with current date and time.
The system is now in normal operation and under Disarm mode. For further system setting and operation, please see following chapters.

3. Getting Started

This chapter will guide you through initial system setup and mounting process.
In order to install the alarm system, first connect the power adaptor to the Control Panel to power
on, the screen should display:
Use the Keypad on the Control panel, enter the User PIN Code you just programmed
Setup
and then OK. The panel will enter User Menu. The screen should display:
Press Down key to scroll downward and select Walk Test. Press OK to enter Walk Test mode. The Walk Test mode allows you to test the signal
strength of your accessory device.
Find the location where the devices are to be mounted, put the device at mounting location and press learn/test button on the device to transmit a
signal.
If the device is within range of the Control Panel, the screen will display
the device information and signal strength. The screen should display:
The number at top right of the LCD display represents device signal strength. It is suggested to mount the device at a location with at least 5 in signal
strength to ensure the Control Panel can receive signal transmission from device without failure. If 5 signal strength cannot be achieved at current
mounting location, consider relocating either the Control Panel or the device.
When you are certain the device can function properly at chosen location, proceed to mount the device.
When mounting devices, make sure the device tamper is fully depressed, please refer to device manual for tamper location.
